As part of the Employee Wellness Program, faculty and staff can take part in three free yoga classes at 121 Fitness Center: Yoga Flow on Oct. 18, noon-1 p.m.; Yoga Basics on Oct. 20, noon to 1 p.m.; and Yoga Happy Hour on Oct. 21, 5:30-6:30 p.m.
Yoga Basics practices the fundamentals of Hatha yoga, focusing on posture and form while enhancing relaxation and flexibility. Yoga Flow sequences the poses together combined with breathing and movement (Vinyasa), incorporating more strength and muscular endurance as well as postures for flexibility. Yoga Happy Hour is a mix of both styles. Register for any or all of these classes by clicking the date and time above.
