Three faculty members received Clinical and Translational Science Collaborative (CTSC) Core Utilization Awards in November. The awards support investigative use of and familiarity with CTSC Core operations and personnel, in anticipation of applications for external funding with CTSC resources.
The following individuals received awards for their projects:
- Ritu Chakravarti, research associate in the Department of Pathobiology, for “Identification of post-translational modifications on 14-3-3 in Vasculitis”;
- David Serre, assistant professor of molecular medicine, for “Simultaneous Reconstruction of Multiple Haploid Plasmodium vivax Genomes from Complex Infections by Dilution Separation and Genome Sequencing”; and
- Liwen Wang, senior research associate at the Center for Proteomics and Bioinformatics, for “HIV-1 antigen.”
