Thought Leaders Series: “Business as an Agent of World Benefit”

Members of the community are invited to the next Thought Leaders Series talk today (March 16) from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. David Cooperrider, the Char and Chuck Fowler Professor of Business as an Agent of World Benefit and the he Covia–David L. Cooperrider Professorship in Appreciative Inquiry, will present “Business as an Agent of World Benefit.” Cooperrider also is faculty director of the Fowler Center for Business as an Agent of World Benefit and a Distinguished University Professor.

The relationship of business and society—and the unprecedented search for mutual advances between industry and the world’s profound upheavals—has become the defining quest of the 21st century. 

In this moderated webcast, author and thought leader Cooperrider will tell the story and provide an exciting preview of the 2021 5th Global Forum for Business as an Agent of World Benefit. Founded by the UN Global Compact, the Academy of Management and Case Western Reserve University, the Global Forum for Business as an Agent of World Benefit serves as “a leadership institute for tomorrow.”
