Third annual Lavender Graduation to be held May 1; RSVP today

Case Western Reserve University’s third annual Lavender Graduation, which honors and applauds graduating LGBTQA students by formally recognizing their experiences, contributions and accomplishments during their time at CWRU, will be held at Alumni House May 1. A ceremony will begin at 6 p.m., and a social featuring musician Julia Weldon will be held from 7:30 to 9 p.m. The social also will offer food and drinks, sponsored by the Alumni Association, CWRU’s LGBT Center and Undergraduate Student Government.

Graduating students (undergraduate and graduate/professional) will receive a rainbow cord and gift. All graduating undergraduate and graduate students are welcome to walk.

All CWRU community members, family and friends are invited to come and see their LGBTQA friends walk the red carpet and be recognized for their achievements.
