The Think Forum series kicks off Oct. 23 at 6 p.m. at the Maltz Performing Arts Center with author, journalist, podcaster and entrepreneur Manoush Zomorodi. Author of Bored and Brilliant Zomorodi explores our relationship with modern technology and examines how we can preserve our humanity in an ever-accelerating world. Zomorodi’s research explores how information overload and digital privacy have changed us as individuals and as a society. She offers everyday tips for finding quiet and sparking creativity as well as macro ideas to help people live better with their technology.
Free shuttle service will be available from campus. Reserve free tickets online or contact the Maltz Performing Arts Center Box Office at 216.368.6062.
Additionally, students will have an opportunity to join a special roundtable discussion with Zomorodi earlier in the day at 3:30 p.m. at Sears think[box], Room 626. The discussion will include dialogue about technology, media, mindfulness and more. Think Forum, in partnership with the Weatherhead Idea/Design/Entrepreneurial Association, will offer this session.
