Case Western Reserve University faculty members are invited to find out what their colleagues are working on during The Science, Arts and Humanities Summer Slam Wednesday, May 3, from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at The Jolly Scholar in Thwing Center.
Hosted by the Institute for the Science of Origins and the Department of Philosophy, this event will feature five-minute “slams” by faculty members who will describe their research or another cool topic before the timer runs out. Faculty members can cheer on their friends and meet new ones during this event.
Wings, chips, coffee and tea will be provided. There also will be a cash bar.
Prizes will be given every half-hour.
Volunteers are needed to present their research or on another topic of interest. To participate, email patricia@case.edu.
