Brian Clites, associate director of the Baker-Nord Center for the Humanities and instructor of religious studies, will give a talk titled “The Politics of the Catholic Abuse Crisis” Friday, Oct. 18, from noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Normandy Senior Living Breakwater: Independent Living Apartments in Rocky River.
This event is part of a new luncheon program called Conversations in Rocky River, offered by the Siegal Lifelong Learning Program. The program is designed to allow Case Western Reserve University to reach a broader lifelong learning audience by offering lectures in locations throughout Northeast Ohio. This program is open to the community, including residents of the Normandy.
The lecture costs $27 for Lifelong Learning Program and $32 for non-members. The price to attend includes lunch.
