“The People’s Justice: Clarence Thomas and the Constitutional Stories that Define Him”

Case Western Reserve University School of Law’s Canary Lecture, “The People’s Justice: Clarence Thomas and the Constitutional Stories that Define Him,” will take place Monday, Sept. 18, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. in Moot Courtroom A59 of George Gund Hall (11075 East Blvd.). The event will feature insights from Amul R. Thapar, a judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.

For 30 years, Clarence Thomas has been denounced as the “cruelest justice,” a betrayer of his race, an ideologue, and the enemy of the little guy. In this compelling study of the man and the jurist, Thapar demolishes that caricature.
