“The impact of flavored cigarillo labels on product packages, visual attention and risk perceptions among youth and young adult cigarillo users and nonusers”

Members of the Case Western Reserve University community are invited to join the Prevention Research Center for Healthy Neighborhoods (PRCHN) for its next seminar series event Wednesday, Feb. 14, from noon to 1 p.m. via Zoom.

Liz Klein, chair and professor of health behavior and health promotion in the College of Public Health at Ohio State University, will present “The impact of flavored cigarillo labels on product packages, visual attention and risk perceptions among youth and young adult cigarillo users and nonusers.”

The theme of Klein’s research agenda is the use of a multi-level, social-ecological approach in the prevention or reduction of tobacco use, with a particular interest in understanding the role of policy, systems and environmental change strategies and their influence on population health behavior, particularly tobacco use.

During this talk, she will discuss the impact of cigarillo labels on the perceptions of youth and young adults.
