The Environmental Heroes Youth-Led Climate Action Summit

The middle and high school students in the College of Arts & Sciences’ Gelfand STEM Center’s Environmental Heroes field science program invite the Case Western Reserve University community to a virtual Climate Action Summit Saturday, Sept. 26, from 4 to 6 p.m.

The goal of this summit is to take action on climate change by petitioning the state legislature to develop a climate action plan for Ohio. Eric Schreiber of the Climate Reality Project will be the featured speaker. The Environmental Heroes students will lead this youth-focused event, engaging representatives of offices of sustainability and green-focused agencies and youth from around the state.

The event is free and open to all. To register, contact gelfand.case.edu or kmk21@case.edu.
