The Case Western Reserve University Faculty Senate Committee on Women Faculty, Flora Stone Mather Center for Women, and Office of Faculty Development are pleased to present the “Women In Network” (WIN) program to women faculty members as an opportunity of mentorship, dialogue and socialization.
The program’s second session, titled “The Ebb and Flow of Professional Advancement and Personal Life,” will take place both virtually and in person Friday, Feb. 3, from 12:30–3:30 p.m. This session will not be recorded so live attendance is required in either modality.
For those who attend in person, there will be a community viewing of the live workshop from NCFDD (delivered virtually), followed by an in-person panel session. The in-person session will be held in KSL Collaboration Commons, and lunch will be provided. You may, instead, attend both the workshop and the panel session virtually.
The workshop schedule will flow as follows:
- 12:30-2:30 p.m.: Live, virtual delivery of the interactive workshop “Every Semester Needs a Plan”, facilitated by Dr. Naomi Levy from the National Center for Faculty Development and Diversity. Lunch will be served for in-person attendees.
- This workshop helps participants identify personal and professional goals, create a strategic plan to accomplish them, and identify the types of community support and accountability necessary to have the most productive and balanced semester ever.
- 2:30-3:30 p.m.: Panel Session with Women Faculty: Brainstorming Best Practices and Lessons Learned in Promoting Work/Life Balance
Panelists will include:
- Hope Barkoukis, PhD, RDN, LD, FAND
- Faye Gary, EdD, RN, FAAN
- Marjorie Greenfield, MD
- Amy Hise, MD, MPH
