Kelvin Smith Library, the Judge Ben C. Green Law Library, the Lillian & Milford Harris Library and the Allen Library invite the campus community to save the date for the 2018 Digital Scholarship Colloquium: “The Digital and Democracy.” The colloquium will take place Thursday, Nov. 1, and Friday, Nov. 2.
The two-day event will bring together professionals to delve into how research can be used to advocate for communities experiencing disruption and inequality in health care, housing, environment, social justice and other areas.
Diana Nucera, director of the Detroit Community Technology Project, and Erika Anthony, vice president of government relations for Cleveland Neighborhood Progress, will give the keynote addresses.
Registration will open Wednesday, Aug. 1.
