The #MeToo movement has shined light on the pervasiveness of sexual violence and created a demand for prevention models that actually work. In collaboration with the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center, the Flora Stone Mather Center for Women will host a free film screening of The Bystander Moment Friday, April 12, from 12:30 to 2 p.m. in the Frank N. and Jocelyne K. Linsalata Alumni Center.
The event also will include a discussion on what is being done on campus and in the community to prevent gender violence from happening.
Those interested in attending should note that the event will feature sexual assault survivor narratives.
