“The 2020 Nobel Prizes in Science: What Were They Given For?”

The Program in Cell Biology at the School of Medicine and the Department of Physics at the College of Arts and Sciences will host the annual “The 2020 Nobel Prizes in Science: What Were They Given For?” symposium today (Feb. 11) from 4 to 5 p.m.

Attendees will learn about the research that earned the 2020 Nobel Prizes in physics, chemistry, and physiology and medicine. 

The following faculty members will present:

  • Kurt Hinterbichler, assistant professor of physics;
  • Ron Conlon, associate professor of genetics and genome sciences at the School of Medicine; and 
  • Donald Anthony, associate professor at the School of Medicine.

The event is remote via Zoom and is free and open to the public.
