The 2019 Nobel Prizes in Science, Explained

CWRU faculty will briefly describe the achievements of the most recent Nobel laureates in a symposium and reception co-sponsored by the departments of Physics and Chemistry and the Cell Biology Program.

The event begins at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 30, in Rockefeller Building, Room 301, followed by a reception at 5 p.m. Presentations will be given by Benjamin Monreal, associate professor of physics, Daniel Scherson, professor of chemistry, and Abhishek Chakraborty, assistant professor of molecular medicine at the Lerner Research Institute at Cleveland Clinic.

The event is free and open to the public.
