“Sweat the Small Stuff: How to Harness the Power of Appreciation”

Members of the Case Western Reserve University community are invited to join the faculty and staff Wellness Program and Student Wellness for a discussion titled “Sweat the Small Stuff: How to Harness the Power of Appreciation.”

The presentation will be held twice Tuesday, April 16: from noon to 12:45 p.m. and from 1 to 1:45 p.m. Both sessions will be held in Tinkham Veale University Center, Ballroom C.

Attendees will:

  • Explore the science behind gratitude and how it changes their perspective;
  • Discuss what gratitude is and why it’s important;
  • Learn about the health benefits associated with a consistent gratitude practice; and
  • Discover how to look for the good and acknowledge others’ strengths.

The event is open to all CWRU students, faculty and staff. Food will be provided.
