Susan Helper discusses outsourced jobs coming back to U.S.

Homeward bound? Firms mull return

China Daily: Many companies that had outsourced jobs to countries such as China are now considering moving these jobs back to the United States. Susan Helper, the Frank Tracy Carlton Professor of Economics, said factors such as energy costs are making the U.S. a more attractive place for manufacturers, but the number of jobs coming back to the U.S. from Asia and Mexico has been small.
