“Surviving Holiday Dinners and Semester Break”

Found Families, a program of the LGBT Center in collaboration with University Health and Counseling Services, will host a workshop and feast-style dinner for the LGBTQA+ community to address coping with unsupportive family during the holidays. Titled “Surviving Holiday Dinners and Semester Break,” this event will be held Friday, Nov. 22, from 3 to 5 p.m. in the lounge of the Mandel Community Studies Center.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a favorite side dish to share, if they would like.

The event space has a wheelchair accessible floor plan and doors, gender neutral restrooms on the floor above the event, accessible by elevator. Vegetarian and gluten free food options will be available. 

The LGBT Center has a commitment to confidentiality.
