Chabad at CWRU and Cleveland Hillel will host a talk titled “Survived: The Courageous Story of Gal Cohen-Solal” Monday, Feb. 12, from 7:30 to 9 p.m. in DeGrace Hall, Room 312.
Gal Cohen-Solal, a married father of three, is from Kibbutz Reim, where he manages a cosmetic company producing the unique Jojoba Oil.
On Oct. 7, almost 60 terrorists entered their Kibbutz, murdering seven and taking five hostages. Cohen-Solal and his family survived inside their safe room for close to 30 hours as terrorists shot at them through the doors and windows.
Members of the university community are invited to come to this talk to hear his story of survival and faith, and what it means to stand up for being Jewish.
