“Supporting International Collaborations: What Researchers Need to Know”

Case Western Reserve University values the many important contributions of its international faculty, staff and students. It strives to provide all university members with the information needed to pursue international collaborations consistent with its obligations to comply with government regulations.

Accordingly, the Office of Research and Technology Management and the Office of Compliance members of the CWRU community to attend an information session titled “Supporting International Collaborations: What Researchers Need to Know” Friday, Sept. 6, from 10 to 11 a.m. in Adelbert Hall’s Toepfer Room.

The session will cover the new Export Controls Act of 2018 and how export controls are now established for emerging and foundational technologies. Presenters also will discuss the changing guidance around completing federal applications and progress reports.

The session also will be repeated Monday, Oct. 21, from 2 to 3 p.m. in Adelbert Hall’s Toepfer Room for those unable to attend the Sept. 6 event.

Seating is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration is not required.
