Each year, members of the Ultimate Frisbee Club put in countless of hours towards bettering each and every aspect of their game while also engaging with the Cleveland ultimate community through participating in competitive leagues and hosting Learn To Play ultimate clinics. In an effort to become more competitive in D1 College ultimate, the women’s team has set a goal of attending high-level tournaments this coming season. Such high-level tournaments comprise of nationals-caliber teams and are an excellent opportunity for development. However, attending these tournaments come at a cost in finances and time. They are often located anywhere from a 9-11 hour drive away or on the other side of the country. To combat some of these expenses, we are hosting a Chipotle fundraiser and hope you will help us get there! The fundraiser will be held Wednesday, Sept. 6, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Uptown Chipotle location.
When you check out you MUST show them the Facebook event page, give/show them a flyer, or verbally say that you want your money to go towards the CWRU Women’s Ultimate Frisbee Team. Otherwise, the money does not go to us. See you there!
