The Staff Advisory Council’s Community Service Committee is hosting its 13th annual Back-to-School Supply Drive, running through Sept. 13. Donations will directly support students at Mary Bethune PreK-8, Michael R. White STEM School, and Daniel E. Morgan Elementary School, helping them start the school year with the tools they need to succeed.
Cash donations and new items will be accepted.
The needed supplies are:
- Art paint brushes
- No. 2 pencils
- Large pink erasers
- Laddie pencils (for primary grades)
- Pens (blue, black and red)
- Colored pencils
- Crayons
- Markers
- Construction paper
- Spiral and composition notebooks
- Notebook dividers with pockets
- Notebook paper (wide- and college-rule)
- Copy paper
- 3-ring binders (1 ½ inch – 2 inch)
- Folders (with or without pockets)
- Compass
- Protractor
- Rulers
- Glue sticks
- Scissors
- Headphones
- Scientific calculators (grades 5–8)
- USB/flash drives

Last year, through the generosity of the campus community, the Staff Advisory Council was able to donate 75 boxes of supplies.
