On March 8, a group of students will travel to Antigua, Guatemala, for a short-term study abroad course in child welfare.
The students hope to raise awareness and funds for the two health care clinics they will visit while in Guatemala with a fundraising event, Bingo for Guatemalan Health Care. The event will take place Thursday, Feb. 6, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences, Room 320 BC.
Admission is $5 and includes two bingo cards, a voucher for a snack or drink item and a chance to win prizes donated by local businesses in Cleveland.
