The Career Center will host an information session about the Summer on the Cuyahoga program Wednesday, Jan. 24, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in Sears Library Building, Room 229.
The program brings together 50-70 students for an intensive summer immersion program designed to help interns explore the professional, civic and social offerings of the Cleveland area. Students from Case Western Reserve University, Colgate University, Cornell University, Denison University, Ohio Wesleyan University, Smith College, University of Chicago and Yale University are invited to participate.
The program features a paid internship in a variety of fields, including finance, marketing, IT, urban development, education and entrepreneurship. Past participants have interned at some of Northeast Ohio’s top companies, including American Greetings, KeyBank, Lubrizol, McMaster-Carr, DDR Corp., BioEnterprise and more.
More than 30 events with alumni, civic and community leaders will be held to en enhance the participants’ experience and allow them to explore Northeast Ohio.
Free housing will be arranged.
