Submit your abstract to present at the Vagantes Conference in Medieval Studies

The Department of Art History and Art and the Department of Music are very excited to be hosting this year’s Vagantes Conference in Medieval Studies here at CWRU and the Cleveland Museum of Art! The conference will be held from March 24–26, 2022. Activities will include an opening recital, a banquet, and various workshops. Keynote lectures will be given by Elina Gertsman (CWRU) and Daniel Smail (Harvard University).

Vagantes offers an excellent opportunity for junior scholars to share their research. We invite abstracts from current graduate students and recent MA graduates from all disciplines on any topic related to the long Middle Ages, including those focusing on non-Eurocentric geographies and medievalism(s). Please distribute this Call for Papers to graduate students far and wide and share it with other colleagues who might be interested!
