Submit suggestions for next year’s Common Reading

The Common Reading Selection Committee invites suggestions for next year’s common reading book. The common reading is part of the First-Year Experience Program, which is committed to helping new students make a successful transition from high school to Case Western Reserve University.

The committee is looking for books that fit one of the following themes:

  • Graphic Novels
  • Music & the Arts
  • Asian Cultures – Asian Americans

The common reading selection should have potential connections to a range of academic departments, centers, other campus initiatives and be fewer than 350 pages.

The author of the common reading selection is invited to speak at the fall convocation.
