The Center for Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy (SUDEP) Research (CSR) is accepting proposals for novel pilot projects in human SUDEP research that will address the goal of understanding SUDEP pathophysiology.
About the grant program
The program will award a $50,000 grant to clinician researchers engaged in human research with innovative proposals that specifically utilize the Informatics and Data Analytics Core of the CSR.
Successful applicants will be expected to work collaboratively with the CSR investigators and, where possible, make use of available Clinical and Translational Science Collaborative (CTSC) Core Facilities.
Applications from human epilepsy, cardiac and respiratory researchers are especially encouraged. Clinical researchers with a focus on database analysis may apply as long as the focus is explicitly on SUDEP.
Funding for the one-year pilot grant award will be granted by the CTSC in collaboration with the CSR.
All applications must be submitted through WebGrants, the CTSC’s online grant application system.
The application must be received Wednesday, May 30, by 5 p.m. Any applications received after this deadline will not be reviewed.
