Students in programs managed by the School of Graduate Studies may be nominated by faculty and staff for several prestigious awards, including the Richard A. Zdanis Fellowship, the Ruth Barber Moon Award, the Lenore A. Kola Graduate Student Community Service Award and more.
Departments that have recognized outstanding Graduate Studies students with their own awards can have honorees included in the Graduate Award Ceremony if the department notifies the School of Graduate Studies.
The deadline to submit nominations for Grad Studies Awards is Wednesday, March 12 and the deadline to submit notifications for department awards is Wednesday, March 19.
If your department has not determined winners of department awards by the deadline, email sgsevents@case.edu to discuss the possibility of still including the students in the ceremony.
The 2025 Graduate Student Award Ceremony will be held Wednesday, April 30, at 3 p.m. in the Tinkham Veale University Center ballroom.
