The Big Data Neuroscience Workshop, an interactive workshop for big data analytics in neuroscience, is accepting abstracts and research posters for presentation at the event, which will take place Sept. 6-7 in Thwing Center.
Hosted by Case Western Reserve University, organized by the Advanced Neuroscience Network and funded by the National Science Foundation, the annual workshop brings together researchers in neuroscience, computer science, statistics and related disciplines to focus on managing Big Data, data sharing, high performance computing and using provenance metadata to support reproducible neuroscience research.

Travel scholarships for U.S. residents to cover travel and lodging are available for students, post-doctoral scholars and young investigators. The deadline to apply for these scholarships, and to submit abstracts, is Aug. 15.
