Crain’s Cleveland Business: A new study by Lisa Huisman Koops, associate professor of music, shows that members of Lakewood High School’s rock orchestra reported the experience kept them highly involved in music later in life, prepared them for achievement in and out of music, and gave them confidence to take intellectual and creative risks.
