Study abroad risk management training sessions for faculty-led programs

The Office of Education Abroad’s top priority is to ensure that faculty and students are safe on Case Western Reserve University study abroad programs. It is important for faculty members taking students abroad to know how to minimize risks and manage crisis while on a study abroad program.

Faculty can learn more about keeping students safe while abroad at any of the upcoming risk management training sessions:

  • Tuesday April 16, from 3:30 to 5 p.m.
  • Thursday, April 18, from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
  • Tuesday, April 23, from 3:30 to 5 p.m.

All sessions will take place in Tomlinson Hall, Room 135.

This training session is for faculty members leading study abroad programs and individuals in a leadership or assistant role for a CWRU study abroad program.

The session will benefit both those who have led study abroad programs for years and those planning to lead a course for the first time.
