The Schubert Center for Child Studies announced the winners of the fall 2020 Schuberts@Intersections competition. To celebrate and encourage students whose research is focused on children or adolescents, the Schubert Center sponsors a competition for recognition each semester during Intersections. The students’ research covers a wide range of topics and disciplines, from engineering medical devices to analyzing social structures and policies.
First place (which includes an honorarium of $150) was awarded to Isabella Beninate for her research project “Condensed Bilingual Input Output Survey for Increased Clinical Efficiency.”
Max Berky, Rohan Desai, Bill Ding, Ruby Spada and David Suh earned second place (with an honorarium of $100 per student) for their presentation on “Healthy Baby Monitoring.”
