Student talks to employer at Career Fair with students lined up behind him

NYC Career and Internship Connection

Make the most of winter break this year by attending the NYC Career and Internship Connection Tuesday, Jan. 8, at the New York Hilton Midtown.

This exclusive event is open only to students from 16 Career and Internship Connections Consortium (CIC) member institutions, including Case Western Reserve University, and blends the best of a career fair and a pre-screened interview event.

The morning session (9 a.m. to noon) will be a traditional career fair, while the afternoon session (1 to 5 p.m.) will be interviews with employers. Some employers will post jobs on Handshake (search under ‘Jobs’ using the keyword “NYC CIC”), while others will leave their interview schedules open and invite candidates they meet at the career fair in the morning to interview later that day. The application deadline to be considered for pre-arranged interviews is Monday, Nov. 26.

The event is typically attended by close to 100 employers recruiting for internships and full-time positions across majors. There is no fee for students to register.

Visit the CIC website for more information or Handshake to register.
