Students: Apply for Sears think[box] project funding

The Larry Sears and Sally Zlotnick Sears think[box] Student Project Fund has been renewed, thanks to support from the Reinberger Foundation. The fund provides material support to students working on personal projects, team projects, design competitions, entrepreneurial activities and more.

Past funded projects include:

  • A tiny robot with an origami antenna
  • A concrete 3D printer
  • 3D-printed cadaver bones for surgical simulation
  • A macro photography light stage
  • Theatrical set design
  • A propane forge
  • A touchless motor speed sensor
  • A custom-built electric guitar

Awards of up to $2,500 are available for undergraduate and graduate students. Project topics can include engineering, art, science, humanities or any other topic.
