The Office of Interprofessional Education, Research and Collaborative Practice will sponsor the registration fee for a team to compete in the 2021 CLARION Interprofessional Healthcare Case Competition, which will be held virtually April 9–10.
The case topic is racial disparities in infant and maternal mortality and morbidity.
National Case Competition Interprofessional Scholarship Fund Awards are:
- First place: $7,500 team scholarship
- Second place: $5,000 team scholarship
- Third place: $2,500 team scholarship
If you are a full-time student and would like to represent your profession for a CWRU team, complete the form by Jan. 31. Team member selection notifications will be made by Feb. 5.
What is CLARION?
CLARION (CLinician Administrator Relationship Improvement OrganizatioN) is a student-driven, staff/faculty-advised committee housed within the Center for Health Interprofessional Programs at the University of Minnesota.
CLARION promotes the development of interprofessional relationships among health professional students through experiential learning opportunities, inspiring systems-level changes focused on achieving health for all. CLARION’s signature program, the Case Competition, nurtures interprofessional communication and leadership, analytical reasoning, conflict resolution and systemic thinking.
