Student volunteers needed to help at commencement

Join us in celebrating the graduating Class of 2024 by volunteering to help students, their families and guests during commencement events. Commencement volunteers are critical to ensuring this campus tradition is enjoyable, celebratory and smooth for everyone visiting campus.

The Commencement Office is looking for dependable Case Western Reserve University students to help us make Commencement 2024 a special and memorable day for our graduates. Volunteers are needed to assist with weekend ceremonies at the Veale Convocation Center on Saturday, May 18, and Sunday, May 19. Polo t-shirts and lunch will be provided to all volunteers on both days.

In addition, the Commencement Office will cover the cost of an on-campus housing extension from Monday, May 13,  to  Monday, May  20, for all volunteers who complete their volunteer assignment. If you need an extension, please enter your building, room number, and Case ID (abc123) on the registration form by April 29. Please DO NOT contact the Offices of Housing and Residence Life directly, as doing so may result in charges applied to your account.

There will be a mandatory meeting for student volunteers on Thursday, May 16, at 4 p.m. Veale Convocation Center to go over processes.

Register to be a volunteer. If you have any questions, please contact Christal Crosby at christal.crosby@case.edu or email commencement@case.edu.
