The 2016 – 2017 William N. Skirball Writers Center Stage Series will open in a new location this season: The Maltz Performing Arts Center. The series begins Tuesday, Sept. 13, at 7:30 p.m. with Don DeLillo, one of America’s most acclaimed writers whose storied career has spanned more than four decades.
His works include the novels White Noise, for which he won the 1985 National Book Award; Libra, a National Book Award and Critics Circle Award finalist; Mao II, for which he received the 1992 PEN/Faulkner Award and a Pulitzer Prize; and Underworld, for which he received the 1998 American Book Award. His latest novel is Zero K.
A limited number of student tickets will be available for his appearance in person on the day of the event.
Beginning at 10 a.m., students can show their Case Western Reserve ID at the Tinkham Veale University Center’s first floor information desk to obtain a ticket to that evening’s event.
Shuttles will be available to transport ticketed guests to the Maltz Performing Arts Center from the Linsalata entrance of the Tinkham Veale University Center.
