Anne Nickoloff, a junior studying English and psychology with minors in creative writing, music and film, was recognized as one of nine winners of the Roy W. Howard National Collegiate Reporting Competition. Winners were selected from universities across the United States.
Nickoloff is an executive member of the University Media Board, the arts and entertainment editor of The Observer, editor of The Athenian and assistant editor of the Case Reserve Review.
As one of the winners, she will travel to Asia to study journalism in other cultures, visiting media organizations as well as cultural and historical landmarks.
