The Student-Run Free Clinic will hold a 5K run/1-mile walk April 19 to support the clinic’s services to underserved populations around Cleveland.
The race, themed “Break Out of the Bubble,” will begin with the 1-mile “fun walk” at 8:30 a.m., followed by the 5K run at 9 a.m. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. Both races will take place in Forest Hill Park in Cleveland Heights.
During the race, participants will run or walk through bubbles. The theme also represents the bridge the Student-Run Free Clinic represents between Case Western Reserve University and the community.
Pre-registration is $20, and day-of registration is $25. A T-shirt, water and refreshments are included in registration costs.
