Science Now: A group of Case Western Reserve University students won the Saint-Gobain engineering contest last week for their temporary pothole filler made of non-Newtonian fluids. “…We were putzing around with different ideas and things we wanted to work with—and we were like, what’s a common, everyday problem all around the world that everybody hates?” explained Curtis Obert. “And we landed on potholes.”
