Join Local InterNational Konnection (LINK), a student group of the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences, for a special presentation, “Stop Human Trafficking,” today (Feb. 13) from 1-2 p.m. in the Mandel School, Room 238. This complex issue impacts communities across the globe, including Northeast Ohio. Come engage in dialogue about human trafficking, plus learn how to support and access local resources.
Local guest experts from the field of human trafficking, including Maya Simek, lecturer in the School of Law, and Brenna Dilley, founder of the Tampire Task Force, will lead the discussion.
Lunch will be provided. The event is free and open to the public.
