Students are invited to an information session today (Nov. 10) to learn about volunteer opportunities at Stephanie Tubbs Jones Health Center, an outpatient facility of Cleveland Clinic.
The session will be held from 4 to 5 p.m. in the second floor conference room of Tinkham Veale University Center.
These opportunities are part of the clinic’s College Student Spring Semester Volunteer Program. Volunteers will begin their service in January 2017 and continue through their spring semester.
The Stephanie Tubbs Jones Health Center is unique among the clinic’s outpatient facilities because it reaches beyond traditional health care services and links community resources in one location to make it easier for patients and their families to get the health care, financial and social services. It provides patients in East Cleveland with a new way to receive health care.
Full details of the program’s requirements will be discussed at the information session.
The Stephanie Tubbs Jones Health Center is located just east of the CWRU campus at 13944 Euclid Ave., a short ride on the RTA Health Line.
