“STEM Research-Oriented Career Panel Outside of Academia”

The Undergraduate Research Society (URS) will host a STEM research-oriented career panel for students looking for job opportunities apart from academia. This includes public policy/government, consulting, scientific communication, startups and industry.

Students are invited to come hear from distinguished professionals who will discuss their transition into their chosen career and what their careers entail. The panelists will have varying levels of academic training, ranging from bachelor’s degree-holders to PhDs. After the panel, students will get the opportunity to ask questions to individual panelists about their chosen careers.

This event will be held Friday, Feb. 25, at 12:45 p.m. via Zoom. The Zoom link will be provided when you RSVP via CampusGroups.
