STEM Faculty Recruitment and Retention Journal Club meeting

Now in its second year, the Case Western Reserve University STEM Faculty Recruitment and Retention Journal Club is focused on increasing recruitment and retention of historically disenfranchised populations in STEM disciplines.

The third meeting of the spring 2022 semester will take place Thursday, March 24, from noon to 1 p.m. The meeting will be hosted by Joy R. Bostic, associate dean in the College of Arts and Sciences, associate professor of religious and Africana studies, and co-PI for the Humanities in Leadership Learning Series.

Attendees will discuss the role of search committee chairs in negotiating equitable faculty searches and how tenure requirements can be revised to include diversity, equity and inclusion accomplishments.
