David Dzombak, professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University, will give a seminar on Friday, March 6 on "Climate Change Adaptation for Infrastructure: A Grand Challenge for Civil and Environmental Engineering.” The seminar will take place from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. in the Bingham building, room 240.
Dzombak’s seminar will explore the impact of climate change on civil and environmental infrastructure. He will discuss the actions that must be taken by civil and environmental engineers in order to design new guidelines for building sustainable communities in the 21st century.
