Staff members give a presentation and demonstration on the Faculty Information System

Staff members from University Technology ([U]Tech) and the Office of the Provost presented on Case Western Reserve University’s Faculty Information System at the 2023 Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) Information Technology in Academic Medicine Conference in Denver on June 1.

The team consisted of:

  • Mandy Chen, director of information technology at the School of Medicine;
  • Anita Gupta, senior applications architect at the School of Medicine;
  • Rob Kosec, an applications programmer at Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing; and
  • Lindsay Jacobs, special assistant to the provost.

During the presentation, the team gave a demonstration of the Faculty Information System to an audience of technology professionals at medical schools from across the country.

Since its creation in 2018, the Faculty Information System has become the university’s source of record for faculty appointment information.
