Shannon Swiatkowski, coordinator in the Center for Proteomics and Bioinformatics, is the newly elected vice chair of the Staff Advisory Council, with her term beginning the third Monday of September. The vice chair is elected by the council to serve a one-year term as vice chair, followed by a one-year term as chair.
“I humbly accept the position of the SAC vice chair and am grateful to have been elected to serve in this capacity,” she said. “I think the best part about being on SAC is being able to serve all kinds of people throughout the university, and I look forward to meeting with many of you over the next few years.”
Swiatkowski has worked at the university for five years, during which time she became a Staff Advisory Council representative, serving on the Climate & Work Environment and Staff Training & Development Committees.
