The Staff Advisory Council (SAC) will hold its basket raffle in March this year. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, SAC has not held a basket raffle since 2019, when $5,000 was donated to the West Side Catholic Center Charity. The grand total of contributions over the course of 19 years is $92,550.
This year, for its 20th basket raffle, SAC hopes to surpass the $100,000 mark in total funds raised. Centered on the theme “Second Chances,” this year’s raffle will benefit EDWINS Leadership & Restaurant Institute, which gives formerly incarcerated adults a foundation in the culinary and hospitality industry, and provides the support network necessary for long-term success.
The raffle will be held in Tinkham Veale University Center, Ballroom A:
- Tuesday, March 14, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Wednesday, March 15, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Case Western Reserve University departments are invited to donate a basket for the raffle.
