“Sports Management: Managing Money for Professional Athletes” with Greg Badowski

Join the Veale Institute for Entrepreneurship Wednesday, Oct. 28, at 9 a.m. via Facebook Live for a discussion about “Sports Management: Managing Money for Professional Athletes” with Greg Badowski, director of MAI Capital Management. He will discuss the role of money management for professional athletes.

Sports Management is a CWRU Advanced Seminar course taught by Gary Pillar, executive director of major gifts and assistant athletic director for development at CWRU. The course is designed to give students the opportunity to explore the community of ideas and activities related to the professional and managerial world.

Several lectures from Sports Management will be live streamed this fall semester for the Veale Institute’s Open Class Series. Other Open Classes this semester feature seminars from Brandon Cornuke’s AMES Business Model course, Michael Goldberg’s Beyond Silicon Valley course, and David Sylvan’s Advanced Seminar on the Internet of Things. Information on these seminars is provided through Veale Institute social media platforms.
