If you’re passionate about media, want to find ways to express yourself, or are just looking for a fun time, join University Media Board (UMB) for an evening of games, food, and prizes at Spartigras Saturday, Aug. 24, from 6 to 11 p.m. in Thwing Center.
UMB’s organizations work with everything media—from journalism to theater to movies to radio.
Members of UMB organizations will be available to answer questions, show off their work and meet new members.
Students can get a T-shirt, win a stuffed teddy bear (UMBear), play carnival games, and make souvenirs during the event.
Featured clubs will include CWRU’s yearbook, satire and literary magazines, film studio, and undergraduate research journal. This event is open to all incoming first-year and transfer students.
